The Chicago Daily Herald featured a Rolfing story, "Is Rolfing Right For You?," in their Health & Fitness section. Lori Rackl, the reporter visited the Rolf Institute and interviewed Certified
Advanced Rolfer, Gael Ohlgren. Circulation: 150,000. They’re the third largest daily paper in
Illinois, behind the Chicago Tribune and Sun-Times.

Family Circle magazine featured an "Alternative Medicine For Sports Injuries" article by Tricia
O’Brien, in their Health section. They mentioned Certified Advanced Rolfer, Jeff Maitland's
work with Charles Barkley and the Phoenix Suns basketball team. The story was originally
slated for Sports Illustrated For Women. Tricia tore a ligament in her knee when she was
researching the article last year. She is grateful to Certified Advanced Rolfer, Alan Kaplan for
his professional support. Circulation: 2 million.

Body, A Once Heretical Notion, Is Gaining Ground In the Therapeutic Techniques That Blend
Bodywork and Traditional Talk. Here’s a Look at Three of the Fastest Growing Therapies:
Rolfing, Rebirthing and Radix." The article was written by writer Meryl Davids Landau.
Oct.15, ‘01
The Boulder Daily Camera published a feature article, "The Power of Touch: Body
Psychotherapy Sees Massage, Movement as Adjunct to Counseling," by Lisa Marshall, Health
editor. She visited the Institute, interviewed Certified Rolfing Instructor, Til Luchau and received
a Rolfing demo. The story highlights bodywork as a modality that can ease trauma and it
promotes "Rolfing (as) one method of bodywork used to address emotional as well as physical
issues." See Page 1, "Life and Arts" section. New York Certified Rolfer, Louis Schultz who
volunteered at Ground Zero inspired this local story about the Rolfing approach to trauma.

Boulder newspaper, the Colorado Daily health column, featured Rolfing. "Body in Motion,"
written by Jean Suffin was published in their "Body & Soul" section. Student Rolfer, Erik Fenz
was interviewed. Erik endorsed the Rolf Institute’s training program and provides information
about signing up as a classroom model/client. Circulation: 20K
November ‘01
Namaste Magazine, in South Africa, published an article, "Rolfing® Structural Integration,
Making Friends With Gravity," by Certified Rolfer, Rhona Achtman Kolbe. Namaste is one of
two alternative magazines that are widely read here through out the country. Rhona says, "The
