The Dr. Ida Rolf Institute is committed to cultivating academic growth and therapeutic skills in all our graduate Rolfers™. We encourage a lifelong learning approach, and our Continuing Education (CE) programs are designed to support you in refining your therapeutic skills, expanding your clinical toolbox, preparing for the Advanced Rolfing® certificate, and continuing to broaden your knowledge even as an Advanced Rolfer™.
CE opportunities include hands-on training in advanced manipulative techniques, Rolf Movement® instruction, and complementary modalities such as CranioSacral Therapy and Visceral Manipulation.
To become a Certified Advanced Rolfer™, you must complete 18 Continuing Education days within 7 years of initial certification, or within 9 years if you first complete Rolf Movement® Certification:
Credits earned under previous DIRI CE policies will be honored.
You may request a waiver for incomplete prerequisites.
Waiver decisions are made at the instructor's discretion.
Rolf Movement® Certification is a flexible, in-depth training open to Certified Rolfers™, Rolfing SI students, and Structural Integration practitioners from IASI-recognized schools. This 30-day program deepens your understanding of coordination, perception, gravity orientation, and nervous system regulation—key elements for creating lasting structural change and expanding the impact of your Rolfing® work.
At least 5 days of Rolf Movement® coursework are required as part of the Continuing Education prerequisites for enrollment in Advanced Rolfing® Certification Training. Whether you’re pursuing full Rolf Movement® Certification or fulfilling CE requirements for advanced training, these courses are essential for evolving your skills and effectiveness as a practitioner.
