Advanced Rolfing® Training for Certifed Rolfers™

Advanced Rolfing® training is a 168-hour certification program designed to elevate your clinical precision, presence, and adaptability. The program will help you develop and deepen your understanding and effectiveness as a Rolfer. It is also a great opportunity to explore and get updated with the latest developments in our work.

What you will study:

  • Replace recipe-based work with principle-centered decision making
  • Learn to mobilize joints in an integrated, systemic way
  • Explore the viscera and internal cavities—structure, pressures, pulls
  • Refine your ability to assess and treat the whole person
  • Cultivate energetic sensitivity and direct/indirect touch
  • Understand the therapeutic environment as part of healing

Auditing the Advanced Training

Already certified as an Advanced Rolfer™?

If you have already completed your Advanced Training through the Rolf Institute, then you are welcome to repeat the training on a space-available basis (if the class is not full) at half price. If you want to be assured a spot in case the class fills, you will need to pay full price.

You can also choose to audit morning lectures only (no participation). The following prerequisites apply:

  • $75 administrative fee
  • Instructor approval required

We request that all visiting members recognize the priority of those completing the class for the first time.

Questions About CE Policies?

Our continuing education requirements are among the many ways in which the Rolf Institute maintains its high standards and demonstrates them to the community.

If you are unable to meet your CE requirements within the 7- or 9-year window, please send a letter explaining your situation to the Executive Director. Your request will be reviewed by the Board of Directors.
