The Rolf Institute is proud to offer the following scholarships.
The Jim Jones Tuition Scholarship was developed to honor Jim Jones who served as Director of Education from 2004-2015. Jim Jones worked for over 40 years in public education as a coach, a teacher and an administrator. He was also an accomplished runner and devoted husband and father.
The scholarship annually awards full tuition to a single Basic Training student at the Boulder facility. Submission of an application to the program is a requirement for consideration.

Joel holds a B.A. In Western Philosophy and studied yoga, meditation, pranayama, and Ayurveda at Sri Santosh Puri Ashram in Haridwar, India. It was there, under the guidance of Narmada Devi Puri Ma, in the foothills of the Himalayas on the banks of the Ganges River, that Joel completed his 200-hour yoga teacher training. After practicing Ashtanga in Rishikesh and Chaing Mai, Joel continued to travel the world. Joel studied with Richard Freeman, Annie Pace, Tim Miller, Dena Kingsberg, David Swenson, Eddie Stern, Nancy Gilgoff and Rod Stryker. Joel currently studies Ashtanga Vinyasa with Jennifer Morrison in Portland, Maine.
Joel served his country as a United States Peace Corps Volunteer for 2.5 years. He successfully completed his Peace Corps service to the people of Senegal, West Africa in 2009. After completing his service, Joel traveled extensively in Africa, Europe, and Asia.
Joel graduated from The New Hampshire Institute for Therapeutic Arts in 2015, which is accredited by the Commission on Massage Therapy Accreditation (COMTA). COMTA is the only independent accrediting agency for the massage therapy profession recognized by the United States Department of Education. At NHITA, Joel studied and practiced the following therapeutic modalities and subjects: Anatomy & Physiology, Swedish Massage, Neuromuscular Technique, Injury Assessment, Kinesiology, Lymphatic Drainage Massage, Circulatory Massage, Sports Massage, Hydrotherapy, Health Service Management, Pathology, First Aid/ CPR, Public Health & Hygiene, Nutrition, and Reflexology.
The Rolf Institute is pleased to announce the availability of partial-tuition scholarships to support completion of an Advanced or Basic training program in Rolfing® Structural Integration. Eligible individuals include research professionals or students engaged in a graduate research training program administered by a university or other recognized research institution. Applicants must be committed to the investigation of Structural Integration outcomes or mechanisms.
Awards will be made with the requirement that recipients will participate as a principal or co-investigator in conducting and publishing research results in a peer-reviewed journal following graduation from their Rolf Institute training. Awards will be granted as a 50% reduction in tuition for those who attend training at the main training facility in Boulder, CO.
The deadline for 2017 scholarships is June 1, 2017.
