The Embodied Art of Facilitating Children’s Self-Regulation

As a Rolfer, you understand that lasting change isn't just about structural alignment—it’s about helping
clients find new ways of being in their bodies. This is particularly true when working with children. While
foundational to their development, children's needs extend beyond physical structure; they require
support for emotional self-regulation, creative expression, and relational coherence. How do you integrate
the precision of structural work with the fluid, often unpredictable dynamics of a child's nervous system?
The answer lies in learning to recognize and respond to a child's intrinsic regulatory rhythms. This lecture
is designed to bridge the gap between structural integration and the expressive, embodied world of the
child, offering a framework to enhance your practice and create more profound, lasting change.
This lecture is not about learning a new structural technique. It is about empowering you with a framework
to integrate your existing skills into the full-spectrum of a child's embodied experience.
